Sandhill Inn & Suites

Absolutely love this hotel!! The staff go above and beyond to make your stay a great experience. The housekeeper even remembered what coffee we liked and brought it back to us to make sure we got it. I was shocked. The hotel is modern and has beautiful lobby and breakfast area. The rooms have their own Keurig and pods and are very clean and functional. The bed was comfortable and clean and the bathroom was well stocked with towels and immaculately clean. All of the staff were more than helpful and always had a smile on their face- a lot of hotels could take a page from this hotel's staff book for customer service. Very nice hotel, excellent staff, great location as you can walk to most restaurants, in a great area in close proximity to Great Sand Dunes National Park. And at least than $300 for two adults for three nights, I consider it a steal. We will be back!

We stayed here for the night before heading to Wolf Creek for the day. The rooms were very clean and the staff was both friendly and helpful. The price is affordable, too! They have a breakfast bar that opened at 6:30 which we made sure to stop by before heading out. We will definitely be back!

Excellent hotel. Good mid week pricing. Breakfast was stellar. Room great. Reason for 4 stars. Hot tub water clarity was poor and the temp one night was scalding and the next was barely hot. Pool also was a frigid 68. The biggest complaint is the bleepin room doors. They slam shut vibrating the entire floor. It’s quite a rude awakening at 10 pm when someone is getting in or leaving at 6 am

We had a pleasant stay. Enough parking spaces. Location was good. The desk guy on duty was helpful. No water in the pool, it would be better to put some blinds on the door so it is not so noticeable when coming (pool door is in the lobby on the right). Based on the reviews from Booking, the pool is not accessible for at least 2 years. Our room was right next to the breakfast preparation room, so it was loud in the morning. It was very close to the breakfast area, that's why we heard people, children... Breakfast was almost non-existent. When we arrived at 8am, there were empty trays, no bread or toast, no pastries or muffins.... We waited 10-15 minutes while drinking coffee coffee, but nothing was replenished. We thought of all the previous hotels/motels we stayed in during our road trips in the USA. There was always someone checking if something was missing, cleaning tables, cleaning the floor... We didn't see that here. We left because we didn't have time.

This hotel fit our budget and met all the expectations we had. It is smaller but comfortable, the two staffs we met for our one night stay were both great. Clean environment and did not have any strong chemical smell that sometimes I would get with some higher-end hotels, which I appreciate as a parent with two younger kiddos.

Not a bad face to base yourself while visiting the Great Sand Dunes National Park. The prices for a room are WAY better than most of the places any closer to the park. It has a small indoor pool. The room was a bit outdated, and the bed could use a newer mattress, but it was spacious enough. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and recommended a couple of excellent restaurants in town that we really enjoyed.

This little inn pleasantly surprised my husband and I. Needed a room near Adam State University that I didn't have to give an arm and a leg for, and they delivered. It was clean, staff was accommodating and pleasant. My husband and I, alone with our son, stayed in a double room and was quite comfortable. The rooms come with a fridge and microwave, and they offer free breakfast and wifi too. We could tell updates had been made to the property as well. This will be our hotel of choice when visiting our son on campus. Thank you Sandhill Inn & Suites for making our stay awesome!

The beds were nice and soft. There is also a wonderful night manager! He was there 24/7, I was told he lived there, but I’m not sure. He was always on top of everything, including the breakfast. The breakfast was not closed exactly at 9:30 am and we were told we could help ourselves to anything that wasn’t locked up. The pool was long and only 4 ft deep. The jacuzzi was foggy, but that would probably be my only complaint.
